Samsung Mobile President Dongjin Koh talks about the company's vision for the future

J.K. Shin served as the chief of Samsung's mobile business for a very long time but back in December last year he handed over the day-to-day running to Dongjin Koh. Shin continues to head the overall mobile division and is now focused on long-term growth strategy and development of new growth businesses. Koh is now the president of Samsung’s IT & Mobile Communications Business. He previously served as the head of mobile research and development at Samsung, playing an integral role in the launch of high-end devices like the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy Note 5.

A new video released by the company sees Dongjin Koh discuss Samsung's vision, new products as well as his personal objectives ahead of Unpacked 2016. He reiterates Samsung's commitment to offering new values and extend benefits of new technologies to its customers. “We should try something new,” he says, “something which hasn't been done before.” The short video offers great insight into how Koh conducts business and the vision that he has to propel the company's mobile business forward.
